"I just listen to what is playing"

Unfortunately I should mark out that this approach is very popular. A man doesn't deny music but does not want to bother to separate the wheat from the chaff: he can listen to chanson in the morning, pop for lunch and power metal on his dinner. Sometimes he founds jazz, classics, electronic and these may fantastically not influence on him in any way. A music collection of such meloman consists from discs like "All hits, volume 214", mp3-files are in one folder or are sorted on a random property(like date). As there are no specific preferences there is no lack of music because anything will do for listening. One I can't understands: why listening at all? People like this can be characterized as easy convincible, morally unstable. Usually it's normal for  kids and teenagers but unfortunately not only for them. Once one friend of mine not bothering with choice of music to listen(and not bothering anything really) was proposed to listen to a few collections of psy trance. After some time he complained that he had his "eyes out" and by his words falling to trance. It's a funny case but a question arises: what would happen if he would been told that that is relaxing music. Well, I consider really harmful passive listening of anything without sorting, not bothering for minor efforts to filter all that sh*t regularly hitting our ears. You think chanson on a full sound in buses is a small discomfort? It's a psychological terrorism.
